BITKOM (Federal Association for Information Technology,Telecommunications and New Media)  is the voice of the information technology, telecommunications, and new media industry in Germany. BITKOM represents more than 1,300 companies, with 950 direct members, including practically all global players as well as 600 key midsize companies.  BITKOM offers a wide-reaching, powerful network that brings together the best minds and top companies from the digital world. BITKOM organizes a permanent exchange between experts in the field and industry leaders, offering its membership forums to promote cooperation and platforms for contacting crucial clients.

BVH The German E-Commerce and Distance Selling Trade Association (bvh) is the sector association of the distributor and online traders. Currently it has around 290 members—large and small distance selling companies using the sales channels catalogue, internet, direct sales and TV. Among the members are consignors with mutual/shared catalogue and internet offers.
Statistically there are more specialists than general retailers. German distance selling (goods) aggregate turnover is 28, 6 billion EUR. The annual turnover for the b-2-b business is estimated at 6, 9 billion EUR.
